Job Description

Position responsibilities

- Manage Project deliveries and be the Technical point of contact for the team and the client

- Understand the business, the B2B e-commerce platform and document the business processes

- Deliver projects on time

- Manage escalation

- Recommend design and architectural solution to reduce maintenance activities

- Recruit high end talent to deliver engineering solutions for the projects.

- Implement delivery processes, for consistent quality delivery

- Define KRAs for the team and measure for improvements

- Provide architectural, design and coding help, as may be required, to the delivery teams

- Define and implement training programs

- Implement long term employee retention strategies 

- Develop and implement succession planning 

- Direct Project teams, Recruitment teams, IT & Admin teams for delivery and adherence to policies

-interface with US and UK client on a regular basis to understand the requirements, provide pro-active status updates

Technical Skills Required

- Experience working in international payroll processing (Mandatory)

- 8+ years of Experience with Java, Spring, Rest API and PL-SQL

- 6+ years of experience with PL-SQL and complex Stored Procedures

- 6+ years of experience with project and program management

- 5+ years of experience with automating manual processes involved in the delivery

- 3+ years of experience with Angular and/or DOJO

- 4+ years of experience with SOAP and Rest web services

- Excellent experience with Git as a source control: branching, merging, release automation, unit test automation

Must have non technical skills

- Presentation Development using PowerPoint

- data manipulation and graph generation. Using Excel for presenting information

- Ability to make decisions

- Communicate fluently with US and UK stakeholders

- Ability to travel if required

- Ability to manage project leads and technical architects
