JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product Management to capture customer requirements
• Design and build client applications for iOS which integration with HighQ services
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications meets expectations
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality (e.g. SonarQube) and organization
• Create and maintain automated tests exercising application functionality
• Ensure code is developed using secure coding methodologies

 

Skills:

• Proficient in Swift with a good knowledge of its ecosystems and minimum 2 years of hand on experience in Swift for iOS Experience with CocoaTouch APIs on iOS will add an advantage.
• Experience in Objective-C for iOS will add an advantage.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Good knowledge of performance limits and characteristics
• Knowledge of memory management and multi-threading
• Experience with embedded databases and other system datastore e.g. SQLite
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services
• Good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focus
• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is a plus
• Proficiency in benchmarking and optimization
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. Git)

 

Experience: 2 to 5 years
