Required Skills:

1. 3-6 years of experience with embedded systems and low-level firmware
2. Proficient in C and C++
3. Experience building application-level programs and Linux kernel modules for embedded hardware.
4. Experience with init systems such as sysV or systemd
5. Experience using cross-platform development build tools for embedded systems such as Yocto.
6. Proven track record for shipping products
7. Have a drive to succeed

 

Good to Have:

1. Domain exert knowledge of one or more of the following: Microcontrollers, SoC, device drivers, power management, ARM processors, performance optimization, file systems, bootloaders, and over-the-air firmware updates.
2. Familiarity with audio/video pipeline
3. Shipped products with ARM processors
4. Have a strong understanding of object-oriented design and architecture
5. Believe there is beauty in simplicity
6. Excited about learning new technologies
7. Curious and creative
